Powerful, reliable, maintenance-free.

Decades of experience combined with extensive know-how and a wealth of ideas paved the way for the creation of a comprehensive line of servo motors.  All motors are developed and produced within AMK's own plants.

The extensive range of power, designs, cooling types and encoders guarantee that AMK can provide the right motor for each application.

Synchronous servo motors

The AMKASYN hightorque motors of the DT series are extremely compact and offer highest power density with high pole numbers and optimized lamination geometry.  The motors are characterized by their reliability, high dynamic response and by the fact that they are, to a very large extent, maintenance free.  The motors are available in a power range of up to 35 kW and have a maximum torque fro 0,d up to 240 Nm.  The motors are available with convection cooling or liquid cooling.

The AMKASYN synchronous servo motors of the DS series are brushless, permanent magnet AC servo motors in various frame sizes and in 6-pole design.  High efficiency and a high overload capability guarantee high speeds and optimized dynamic response.  These highly efficient motors also have a vary wide field weakening range.  The power range of the DS motors extends up to 48 kW.  The motors have a maximum torque fro 0,4 up to 650 Nm.

Asynchronous servo motors

The AMKASYN asynchronous servo motors of the DH and DW series are particularly suitable as main drives or high-power servo drives.  The heavy duty design and rigid bearing arrangement allow high radial loads on the bearing arrangement allow high radial loads on the bearings.  The AMKASYN DH motor series is air-cooled while the AMKASYN DW motors are liquid-cooled.  The power range of these motors extend up to 38 kW and provide a maximum torque range between 34 and 255 Nm.  The DW motors deliver a power range up to 48 kW and torque from 14 up to 320 Nm.

The AMKASYN asynchronous servo motors of the DV series are characterized by their high overload capability and their smooth running characteristics.  These heavy duty motors provide good synchronization capabilities making them ideal for feed axis.  The DV motors are available in a power up to 8,3 kW and have a maximum torque from 0,6 up to 27 Nm.

Hollow-shaft motors from the SPINDASYN series

SPINDASYN synchronous motors are hollow-shaft motors and allow the direct integration of various ball screws or planetary roller spindles.  They are equipped with all components that are necessary for axis drives such as a servo motor, DIN attachment for ball screws, optional locking brake and position encoder.  The motor bearings are designed for high axial forces.  The motors are highly dynamic and display high mechanical rigidity and zero backlash.   SPINDASYN synchronous motors are available in convection or liquid cooling.

Inverter-integrated motors

The AMKASMART IDT series combines an intellegent servo inverter with a highly dynamic, permanent magnet synchronous motor.  This extremely compact drive solution offers continuous stall torques of 1 to 3 Nm with a nominal power of up to 270 watt.  Thanks to the wide range of functions and interfaces AMKASMART IDT is ideal for all drive tasks either as a stand-alone solution or in combination with the KE/KW system.
